ECHOFOUNDRY / YOUR PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how EchoFoundry (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles information across our games, apps and websites, regardless of the device, operating system or distribution platform you use. It applies wherever our products link to this policy. It is not limited to one game or store.
Different products offer different features. The sections about advertising, purchases and imported media apply only when the product you use includes that feature. A section in this policy does not mean every product contains that feature. Product screens, permission prompts and store privacy disclosures identify the features and services included in the version you use.
1. Game progress and on-device storage
Our current games do not require an EchoFoundry account. They store progress and preferences on your device, such as earned currency, owned items, upgrades, reward history, room layouts, appearance choices and audio or graphics settings. These records allow the game to resume your progress, remember your choices and manage rewards or access to items. Depending on the product and device, storage may use browser storage, a local database or app files.
We do not upload local gameplay saves to an EchoFoundry server or operate a cross-device cloud-save service in our current products. Changing devices or clearing local data can remove progress. Device or platform backup services, if enabled and supported, are controlled by that platform and your settings; they are not a cloud-save service provided by us.
2. Images, music and permissions
Some products let you choose a personal image or audio file for an in-game picture frame or music player. You start the selection yourself using the device or browser file picker. The game processes the selected content, its filename and the display or playback settings needed to use it. It may retain a local copy or a local reference so it can be used again.
Selected images and music stay on your device. We do not upload them to our servers, share them with advertising providers, publish them or use them to train AI models. Selecting a file does not give us access to your whole photo or music library. Where the operating system requires permission, it is requested when you use the relevant feature. You can cancel selection, remove the imported content using the product's controls, or revoke permissions in device settings. Removing an in-game import does not delete your original file.
3. Website delivery and technical information
The EchoFoundry studio website has no account registration, advertising SDK, analytics script or newsletter service. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection information such as IP address, request details, browser information and security logs to deliver the website, maintain reliability and prevent abuse. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Our hosting provider may process information in countries other than your own, subject to its applicable safeguards.
We do not currently operate a separate gameplay analytics or crash-reporting SDK in our games. App stores and operating systems may provide installation, sales, performance or crash information under their own settings and privacy policies. Information available to us through those dashboards is used to understand product performance, investigate faults and improve compatibility.
4. Optional advertising and third-party services
Some game versions include optional rewarded advertising through Google AdMob and use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage privacy choices. A version without advertising does not initialize those services or send ad requests simply because this policy describes them. The studio website does not display these ads.
When an advertising service is active, Google may process IP address (and approximate location derived from it), device or app identifiers, device and app information, ad interactions, diagnostics and consent choices. This information is used to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, maintain security and manage privacy preferences. Non-personalized advertising may still involve this technical data processing; it does not mean no data is collected.
Our current AdMob-enabled game configuration uses child-directed treatment, disables personalization and remarketing, applies a maximum ad-content rating of G, and marks UMP sessions as under the age of consent. It does not ask players to select or disclose their age. Ads are not requested unless the consent SDK permits requests. We do not operate an adult personalized-ad mode in this configuration or include additional ad mediation networks.
Where available or required, use Privacy Options in the game to review advertising choices. You can also use device privacy controls and Google's ad controls. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures for the provider's processing, retention and rights mechanisms. Turning off game sound does not change advertising privacy choices.
5. Payments and access to digital items
Where a product offers real-money purchases or subscriptions, checkout is handled by the app store or payment platform shown at checkout. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Purchase confirmations, transaction identifiers, product identifiers and entitlement or expiry information may be processed to deliver purchased items, restore eligible purchases, prevent duplicate fulfillment and provide support. The store also processes billing information under its own policy.
Buying an item with earned in-game currency is a local gameplay transaction, not a payment-card transaction. For real-money purchase history, subscription management, cancellation and refunds, use the store where you purchased or contact its support service. Deleting a game does not by itself cancel an active subscription.
6. Messages you send us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, such as your name, device information, purchase reference, screenshots and a description of an issue. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot, handle purchase or privacy requests and keep records of the resolution. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unrelated personal files.
7. Sharing and international processing
We do not sell your personal information or share imported personal images or music with advertisers. Hosting, advertising, email and app-store providers process information as described above and under their own policies. We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse or defend legal rights. We select service providers with appropriate privacy protections and require appropriate safeguards where we control the engagement. The services you choose may process data outside your country.
8. Retention, deletion and your choices
- Local progress: stored until you reset the relevant data, clear app or browser storage, or remove the app and its data. Backup copies may remain under device or platform settings. Resetting progress may not remove imported media; use the media removal controls or clear app/site data to remove both.
- Imported media: remove it using the in-game reset or removal controls, or clear app/site storage. Platform-managed file access can also be revoked in device settings.
- Support correspondence: kept while resolving a request and for up to 24 months after the last meaningful exchange, unless a longer period is needed for an unresolved dispute, security incident or legal obligation. You may request earlier deletion where applicable.
- Provider data: hosting, advertising and payment providers determine their own retention periods and privacy controls. We cannot directly delete information they independently control; we can help identify the relevant provider.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent or request a copy. Contact us below to make a request. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns your data. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Where applicable, you may also contact your local data-protection authority. We cannot recover a local save or file that was never uploaded to us.
9. Children and families
Audience and age ratings vary by product; a game's visual style does not determine its intended age group. We do not ask children to provide personal details to play our current games. Our current advertising configuration uses the protective settings described above for every player. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us to request review and deletion. Real-money purchases and external services remain subject to the relevant store's parental controls.
10. Security
We limit access to information we receive and use appropriate safeguards for our services. Website and service connections use the security features available from their providers. Local save data is not a secure vault, and no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep device access and backups protected.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our products or data practices change. The effective date identifies the current revision. Where required, we provide additional notice or request consent before a material change takes effect. New data collection is not authorized merely by describing a possible feature here.
